Granddaughter #1 will be having a birthday on Thursday. Where has the time gone ??? I remember when her mom was pregnant with her. And, holding my first grandchild !!
She comes from a line of firsts. My daughter was a first child, I was a first child as was my mother and we were all girls. So, maybe someday granddaughter number one will also have a first child who's a girl.

Yup - hard to believe Kristie is going to be 8!! 8 yrs ago I was MISERABLE as HELL and wanted her out out out!! Who woulda thought she'd come on her due date and my 7yr old brother was the ONLY one to guess her date of being born - Jan 28 - just because he was 7 and didn't understand what a due date was - just actually thoughts when she WAS going to come. Too cute!!!

She seems so young and yet I remember when I was 8 I thought I was too old to play with dolls or go on the merry-go-round. Weird, huh? We'll have to take the girls to Snuffy's for their birthdays the next time they come!
